Clemson University vs. University of Miami

Out of 518 applications, Rebekkah Suber, a 4th grade teacher from Wright Elementary,was selected to have a chance to throw for the Eckrich $1 Million Challenge for Teachers.She was able to throw during the Clemson University vs. University of Miami Miami game on November 19, 2022.

Rebekkah was nominated by her Aunt Lisa who works at a high school as a guidance counselor and is also a huge Clemson fan. She said “ Teaching is the best job in the world because you get the chance to directly impact the community in which you live or work. [Her] favorite part of teaching is getting to build relationships with students and seeing their confidence grow.” With her winnings, she hopes the funds will be used to help bring materials into classrooms that students need or help fund classroom libraries for teachers.
